SignBank is an open-source web platform developed in partnership with the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Federal Institute of Education of Santa Catarina, Humboldt University of Berlin, and Levante Lab. Since its inception, when it was launched in Portuguese and Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), the main goal of SignBank has been to offer an open sign language database for Deaf communities globally, as well as serving as a valuable resource for linguistic research.
